Aegis Logistics' board approves sub-division of shares To raise funds The board of Aegis Logistics in its meeting on 01 September 2010 has decided to raise funds upto Rs. 100 crore by means of preferential allotment / qualified institutional placement of equity shares, subject to approval of members and shareholders. Further, the board has approved the sub-division of shares of Rs. 10 each of the company into shares of Rs. 2 each.

HPCL's C&MD holds additional charge as director (marketing) With effect from 01 August 2010 Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has announced that the company have received a letter dated 30 August 2010 from Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas advising that S. Ranbaxy sets up new manufacturing facility in South Africa Ranbaxy (S.A), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ranbaxy Laboratories has announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Be-Tabs Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Plant at Roodepoort, Johannesburg, South Africa. Tata Power, Origin Energy & Supraco consortium wins geothermal bid in Indonesia Tata Power Company has announced that the consortium comprising of Tata Power, Origin Energy and PT Supraco Indonesia was declared as the successful bidder for the Sorik Marapi geothermal project in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. The Sorik Marapi project is estimated to support the development of approximately 240 MW of geothermal generation capacity. The project will be developed by PT Sorik Marapi Geothermal Power, a Special Purpose Vehicle formed by the consortium.
